Mercedes Benz Residences Miami announced merely two months following the debut of its first-ever real estate project in Dubai, Mercedes-Benz is now extending its venture into branded residences to the US. In collaboration with JDS Development Groups, the renowned German car manufacturer is set to construct Mercedes Benz Residences Miami, a towering 67-story structure dedicated to mixed-use purposes located at 1 Southside Park in the vibrant Brickell district of Miami. This ambitious development is expected to cover over 2.5 million square feet, featuring an impressive total of 791 private residences. Pricing for these homes is set to begin at $550,000 for studio apartments, with the largest three-bedroom units peaking at $4 million. Beyond the luxurious condominiums, this remarkable project will boast 200,000 square feet dedicated to office space, premier health and wellness centers, a hotel with 174 rooms, retail outlets, and convenient on-site parking. Crafted by the esteemed urban landscape design firm Field Operations, known for their iconic projects like the Highline in New York and the Underline in Miami, Mercedes Benz Places Miami is set to feature the largest green space in Brickell. Michael Stern, the founder and CEO of JDS Development Group, expressed in a press release, “Collaborating with Mercedes-Benz to transcend the typical residential building and foster a forward-looking community represents a unique honor. With a foundation in eco-friendly construction and design, Mercedes Benz Places in Miami is poised to establish a lasting impact, not just for Brickell but for the entirety of Florida.”

The building’s design will prominently feature the Mercedes Benz brand, particularly through the integration of the company’s “sensual purity” design ethos, which emphasizes smooth lines and a palette of shimmering silver tones. “Our real estate initiative in Miami reflects the core of Mercedes-Benz Places,” Eva Wiese, head of Mercedes-Benz customer solutions GmbH, stated. “Our aim is to work with our partner to develop distinctive residences that are unmistakably Mercedes-Benz, fostering a new kind of urban living within vibrant communities. Our ultimate goal is to create welcoming homes in desirable locations.”

Construction on this innovative skyscraper is already underway, with occupancy expected by 2027.
